The family of former PM IK Gujral will not celebrate his 93 rd B'day as he passes away before few few days of his anniversary. He was 12th Prime Minister of Union of India and passed away recently at Gurgaon's Medanta Hospital.

From the last few days, he was on ventilator due to problems caused by lung infection. Over nine doctors were examining former PM but failed to make him survive.

The soft spoken politician would be remembered for years due to his great contribution in promoting and protecting India's external interests.

On Dec 4, 1919, he was born in the town of Jhelum on the banks of river of the same name which is now in Pakistan. Parents of former PM were freedom fighters but he has keen interest in politics right from his College days.
